When did you add the user account/registration/login stuff? Just noticed that the other day. I can set like a preferrence and location data that rabbitears.info will keep track of everytime i login? Nice feature. seriously.

It's been there since the site was first shown to me in March 2008.

Right now it's mostly to manage e-mail updates, but it will expand to include the DX Tool stuff. The code's already in there, I've just hidden it until it's ready for public consumption.

Trip, I've seen you mention TSReader before but I have no clue what it is. I know it has something to do with collecting data. Does it require us to have a PC digital tuner card too to capture the data?

Yes.

It's software that picks apart and analyzes the stations' signals. It shows everything you could want to know about the bitrates, what's contained in the stream, and so on. It's Windows software, but it's quite good at what it does.

With it, I can tell what resolution (480i, 480p, 720p, or 1080i) a stream is in, I can observe the presence of the TV Guide On-Screen service, the UpdateTV service, and Mobile DTV streams. I can tell whether it's 4:3 or 16:9. I can tell if there are hidden streams, I can see PSIP problems, I can tell just about anything you would want to know short of what the signal looks like on a spectrum analyzer.

There's a reason I aggressively seek data from it.

I was really bored, so I actually went through and managed to post all active Utah translators on my site. Seriously. All 414 of the things.

I know 1inxs is in Utah but I'm not certain where; can you look at the listings and see if you can find your local translators?
