What is the price floor for HDTVs?

Seems like HDTVs have been on a downward fall for pricing lately. 40" HDTVs with internet TV are now around $800. Are prices going to keep falling or are TV manufactures going to try and stick more useless features (ie: 3D, 4K Resolution, etc) on them to jack up the prices. I don't think 4K resolution should even be considered on a TV less than 55".

Depends on the size of course. I've seen some close to $200 and below, but these are smaller sets.

I saw a 34" going for $197.00 recently. Almost puts one in the position to go with ATSC, rather than a Converter.

There are a lot of sub $200 TVs at Wal-Mart. They're 1080p too, and some are up to 39 inches.

Of course, you're not going to get a 70 inch 3d HD LED backlit for that price, but for a budget TV? Lots of options.

In 2001 I bought a 27" CRT for $250. It was a philips (still have it). I don't think the price for LED/LCD is going to go much lower.

Woot has a 42 inch Sanyo LCD for $299 today. It's a refurb, but it's 1080p.
