What channels are you having problems with that you want? Are they pixelating, or just giving a lower reading?

Great to hear things are working out so well!

Question #1:
If you're referring to the way the plastic blaun box snaps onto the antenna, it doesn't matter which way it goes as long as there's good metal-to-metal contact between the box and the antenna contacts. Having any signal level at or close to 100 percent almost always means everything is fine in this regard.

See the attached illustration for guidance on proper aiming.

Question #2: This kind of variation in signal level is normal where stations are in different directions. An amp won't necessarily increase those numbers. There's absolutely nothing to worry about as long as those 75-percent signals don't pause, break up or drop out. Exception: When summer thunderstorms are about, CBS 5.1 and ABC 8.1 may freeze and blank out. These frequency assignments are highly vulnerable to static interference from electrical storms. This is particularly true of the CBS station. There's no cure except waiting for the storm to move out of the area.

Good to hear you have been exceedingly successful!

What Don said x2...

Question: What are the important channels that are coming in at 75 percent?

Dont forget to get an Winegard CA 8800 band seperator for fantastic FM reception as well! You can hook it up on the line behind the TV or somewhere else in the house that may be more convenient.

cbs and nbc are the 2 that are 75% but so far haven't had any problems watching them there picture is clear and once and a blue moon it might skip just a tad for s split second but thats it I can live with that just so happen to finally have them channels on my dvr so I can record my tv series thanks alot you guys I am pretty sure that antenna is the best choice I could have made the channel masters were cheaper but reviews showed they just don't last as long and also winegard was usa made so I went with them couldn't ask for better advice then this forum and the speed of the answers is another great benifit of this forum

I cant get your TVFool up anymore, CBS was Ch. 2 right? Well the antennna gets its lowest gain and least directionaility at Ch. 2, so if you are getting pretty much solid reception at 75 percent signal strength/quality/whatever good on you.

Ch. 2 is notorious for all kinds of problems with electrical interference as well.

Good to hear things worked out well for you.
