Default Multipath cancellation technology

Anybody know when some of the DTV demodulation chip's are going to start hitting the market? These chips are designed to help clear up static and dynamic multipath interference.

haven't heard but I doubt they will help multipath . because of the nature of multipath. the only way I know to tame multipath is with an antenna that rejects it. I know one guy who mounted a 4 bay antenna in the bottom of a metal trash can to get rid of multipath and it work.
