Default KOMO-4 (38) Seattle, antenna tower work (video)

Here's an interesting video KOMO shot of the beginning of the tower work:

I am in the process of shooting a series of (still) pictures of the project and I have a folder with some of them here: http://www.dtvusaforum.com/members/j...er-change.html

The new "38" antenna is scheduled to arrive Friday, 02/12/10.

So it looks like they're just adding height to the tower? Wonder if they're planning on boosting the signal too?

    Aaron,

Their low-band VHF stick was very tall, so they are making up for it by adding new tower sections. They will also be replacing all of the cross bracing to reinforce the structure. Here's the REC report: REC Broadcast Query
