Rocketfish™ - Bidirectional Mini Drop Cable Amplifier
      Model: RF-G1178
      Best Buy link

Tried this out last night, and it worked. I got about 10 points higher (as shown on the TR-40 Box) on my 2 lower signal stations (23, 49) with my indoor antenna, and no drop in signal from anything else.

What does up to 10dB mean? Is it adjustable or fixed?

It's fixed. However, that probably means the amplification response is not "flat" but is rather "tilted" or is otherwise not linear across the active frequency range.

Thanks for the quick review and bringing this product to my attention werobots.

I continue to favor the Motorola BDA series, though.

I figured I would write this one up as this one was easily obtained at my local Best Buy they had this one and a splitter/amp with like 4 takeouts. I've been looking for a 10db amp sense the DTV conversion as my old Radio Shack/Archer amp stopped helping, and made things worse. I did notice that the old amp was only good till about 470MHZ so it killed most DTV signals. This one is rated to 1000MHz. So I gave it a shot, and It helps.
