Thanks for the encouragement, . . . but I would tend to believe that with an
ERP of 880
kW, at a distance of only 33.2 miles, using new high quality all copper core feed cable, a 39 element UHF yagi, a quality antenna mounted preamp, directed at azimuth: 174 degrees / compass: 157 degrees, and a CLEAR VIEW of the Seattle horizon, . . . that one would be able to view this broadcaster with little or no difficulty.
Not so my friends. My assumption is that the broadcaster still does not yet have all of their analog vs. digital distribution antenna arrays squared away yet.
I can presently view much more distant (lower
ERP) stations at a greater signal strength here. Something is amiss still.
Have re-scanned 10 times now for good measure.
Again, VHF stations are not a problem. Strong signal with no fade or loss. However the band opening / closing on UHF continues to be a challenge to deal with.
