Damn. wonder why TVFool shows a non-existant digital transmitter complete with noise levels and power levels then....

I sure hope they get with the program come June 12th. i liked that channel.

TVFool has information because they have a construction permit.

Reread my message. It's going off the air completely on June 12 because the previous owner didn't build anything and the new owner hasn't had enough time. It could be off the air for a while.

TV Fool isn't always correct. According to their site WCPO channel 9 should be coming in here (zip 45440) but doesn't. According to callers from Cincinnati on the WLW radio show, they ain't getting the channel either.

Good news is WCPO will be putting up a brand new digital antenna on their tower within the next week or so, 100 feet higher than the one they're using now. That may actually help.

It's a perplexing situation because a bit over a month ago WCPO came in solid for two weeks. And then it as gone again.

Andy can't keep up with every change of every station as fast as things are changing now.

Andy is just a guy. Like me, you or Jay. If Jay makes a mistake like that I am sure you think, well Jay has a life, he is doing a lot for nothing in his spare time.

TVFool.com is now thought of as this commercial high powered site with the best answer, etc etc. It's a separation in people's mind that it's a super site, not something done by a volunteer for volunteer wages (very low, except for some ad money he gets).

If Andy got sick, or sick of it, or felt like there was so much pressure to be perfect, it could disappear in a NY minute.

Remember these sites like this one, and the others that are clearly better than the commercial sites are 99% volunteers.

i've had success getting alot of 2edge stations on my tvfool plot even though they are in the pink range

Without these people my knowledge would have been much more limited and my ability to help others would have been greatly lessened.

As much as I use TVFool.com check out this page on Trip's site. I use it just as much.

So many times if someone here says I can't receive KXXX I go to trip's site on that page first, as then he links to many good sites that cover info on that stations. You can link to FCC maps, query, REC, GeoHack. His listings speed up searches tremendously.

What would be nice is a thread or website dedicated to tv tower construction updates. I think Orry posted something the other day noting TV tower construction in her area, but it would be nice to see something on a broader scale that somebody could keep up with.
