Hi all, just found this site tonight, looks very informative!
I would like some input on my reception situation out in the "boonies"

My TVFool plot is attached, this is my current setup:
Phillips 52 Element outdoor antenna, mounted ~5 feet above our 2 story house,
CM 7777 Pre-Amp, and we have a rotor as well,
40-50' of RG-59 cable to the TV, about 15 years old.
As of now, the best channel we get is (surprisingly) WPXJ on Ch 23, not much break up at all, we also get WHEC, Ch 10 at times, but very iffy, and breaks up often. The other channels we get a signal, but not strong enough to lock on to.
I just found out that the cable is RG-59, and figure I should replace it, any thoughts on if that will help at all? (I have read different opinions on this since we have a strong pre-amp)
Also, would putting up an antenna like the 7698P from Wineguard give me a better chance at reliable reception?
Thanks for the help!
