Default Turning my UHF into a UHF/VHF antenna

Is there an exact science to this? I'm using a Philips SDV7400K, and would like to add a small, cheap VHF antenna to pick up a help with 2 stations that have just converted over to the VHF spectrum and I like the OTA HD stations over satellite. Thx.

I know how to combine the two I think, I just need to know if there's a special way to mount them or attach them together.

UHF must be over VHF and the Antennas must be at least 4ft apart on the mast

Is this your antenna?

If so that antenna is VHF/UHF now.

Is there a another VHF in another direction you want to get without a rotor ?

Or were you under the impression this antenna was UHF only?
