Default HDTV Cable Question

Can we use the same coxial cables from our dish to the new HDTV Antenna or do we have to run all new cables. We tried this with one of the rooms and find that we have no signal.

Please help as the satelite companys are making a fortun on us

MaryR, Welcome to the DTVUSA Forum. Yes, you should be able use the coaxial cable currently installed. You need to verify the cable you are connecting isn't terminated in the wall between the antenna and the TV. If the cable is continuous from the antenna to the TV, the cable will work. It's possible the problem is with the antenna and not the coaxial cable. Is the HDTV antenna installed outdoor or indoor?
