MaryR, Welcome to the DTVUSA Forum. Yes, you should be able use the coaxial cable currently installed. You need to verify the cable you are connecting isn't terminated in the wall between the antenna and the TV. If the cable is continuous from the antenna to the TV, the cable will work. It's possible the problem is with the antenna and not the coaxial cable. Is the
