Default Do I need to ground a antenna preamp?

Does an antenna preamp need to be grounded? Does it matter if it's indoor our outdoor?

An outdoor antenna mast should be grounded. The coax leading to that antenna should be grounded, too, at the point where it enters the house. Both should be grounded to your home's main electrical ground point.

The preamp should always go on the mast, as close to the antenna as possible.

Indoor antennas do not need to be grounded.
