    I'll repost over here:

My location is in Monument, Colorado, 25 miles from the Colorado Springs towers on Cheyenne Mountain (LOS), and 48 miles from the Denver towers on Lookout Mountain (2nd edge).

Here is my channel list not counting Spanish language and repeat channels. If I had a roof top antenna, I could get more.

    2-1 KWGN Denver's channel 2 (CW)
    2-2 THIS

    4-1 KCNC CBS4 Denver

    5-1 KOAA Colorado Springs/Pueblo (NBC)
    5-2 News 5 Now

    6-1 KRMA Rocky Mountain PBS
    6-3 Create

    7-1 KMGH Denver (ABC)
    7-3 The Cool TV
    7-4 24/7 News

    9-1 KUSA Denver (NBC)
    9-2 Accuweather

    11-1 KKTV Colorado Springs (CBS)
    11-2 MyKKTV (MyNetworkTV SD)

    12-1 KBDI Colorado Public Television
    12-2 KBDI+
    12-3 Megahertz Worldview

    13-1 KRDO Colorado Springs (ABC)

    20-1 KTVD Denver (MyNetworkTV HD)
    20-2 MeTV as of 1/1/12 (Currently NBC-US)

    21-1 KXRM Colorado Springs (Fox)
    21-2 KXTU (CW)

    31-1 KDVR Denver (Fox)
    31-2 Antenna TV

There are also over 6 Spanish language channels, so that makes a "cable package" of over 30 channels.

KWHS World Harvest 51.1/51.2 is also receivable at my location, but not with my main antenna.

Be patient, it's a big image...

This is my customized channel lineup from TitanTV.com, from a few weeks ago. I used"Abduction" for Firefox https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...don/abduction/ to capture the image. There's few duplicates, and there's a placeholder or two for some stuff that TitanTV can't list, but... it's in excess of 35 channels.

Channel 5.2 will lose NBC_US soon, but no clue what it will replace it with, if anything. Also, channel 39 KJDN-LP is new, currently simulcasting MyFamilyTV on 39.1 and 39.2 - but 39.1 is 720p capable, and does some local college and high school sports in 720p, and has ads on 39.3. Owner is seeking a network for 39.1, and possibly 39.3.

Note that I don't get channel 12.1 Daystar with my antenna pointed where it is (currently a compromise aiming that allows me to get all the other channels on one antenna). However, being unable to watch Daystar 12.1 is a "NOT a bad thing", lol.

Channel 4.30 simulcasts CW30 for those areas of the state that don't have a translator for CW 30. Note that while both 8.3 channels are Telemundo, and 8.3 and 30.1/4.30 are both CW, they show different programming. (8.3 Idaho is CW Plus)

Is this enough free TV for you?

I personally don't care that I don't get WCHU-LD on RF 33 (despite both TV Fool & the FCC website showing strong coverage over my area), but I hear most people don't get WCHU-LD since they were forced off of 44 by WLS-TV, when 44 opened up for full power use in the Chicago market. WWAZ, licensed to Fon Du Lac, WI, was originally issued RF 44, & WCHU-LD in Chicago was on RF 44. When WWAZ (been off the air since 2008) changed to RF 5, WLS-TV jumped on the opportunity to snatch RF 44, forcing WCHU-LD off the air. I don't know if I would have gotten WCHU-LD on RF 44, had I have a pre-amp on my old antenna, but I had no pre-amp on my antenna at the time, & didn't get them. Since going to RF 33, most people in the market don't get them. Now, they put in an application to move to RF 28 (hope that one is denied), hoping more people get their station. Problem with that is that then WOCH-LP was forced off of RF 28 back in 2002 or 2003, when WTMJ-TV Milwaukee signed on in digital. As for WLS-TV, I've had more problems with RF 44 than with RF 7 reception wise. I actually wish they had just gone with a UHF translator for the immediate Chicago area & sought a power increase for RF 7 (translator was gonna be RF 32, but was abandoned for RF 44 for full power use, making RF 32 available for WMEU-LD).

As for Pappas Broadcasting & WWAZ, I hear they now regret their decision to move to RF 5, because their old channel (RF 44) is no longer available. Even worse, they requested to have their antenna placed in the Milwaukee antenna farm, while Fon Du Lac is licensed to the Green Bay market. If this station ever gets back on the air, they won't be able to get on satellite system's local channel package, because Fon Du Lac is part of the Green Bay, & by FCC rules, the station (if they ever get back on the air) can not be added to the Milwaukee local channel package. They asked to move their antenna to Milwaukee, because the tower that has their analog antenna on it, has too many antennas already, & supposedly can't handle anymore antennas. They chose not to remove their antenna to install a new antenna, since the station is already off the air. If they ever get back on the air, it'll be interesting how far they get out, because according to TV fool, people as far south as Chicago, as far north as Green Bay, & as far west as Madison, WI, could pick up this station on RF 5 at 25kw.

What Channels Do You Get By Antenna?

I have been dragging my feet for a while now, but I was definitely due to re-scan. I have some Zenith DTT-901 boxes, a couple of DTVPals, some internal TV tuners, and probably others. I get forty different channels and they are as follows:

    002-01 tpt 2

    002-02 tpt MN

    002-03 tpt Life

    002-04 tpt WX

    002-99 tpt Temp

    004-01 WCCO-DT

    005-01 KSTP-DT-1

    005-03 KSTP DT-3

    005-04 KSTC DT-2

    005-45 KSTC DT-1

    009-01 KMSP-DT

    009-02 KMSP-SD

    011-01 KARE-DT

    011-02 KARE-WX

    016-01 K16HYD

    016-02 SMB-TV

    016-03 SMB-TV

    016-04 SMB-TV

    016-05 SMB-TV

    023-01 WUCW-DT

    023-02 Cool TV

    023-03 Country

    025-01 K25IA

    025-02 K25IA

    025-03 K25IA

    025-04 K25IA

    025-05 K25IA

    029-01 WFTC-DT

    029-02 WFTC-SD

    033-01 K14KH

    033-02 3ABN-PR

    033-03 3ABN-ES

    033-04 3ABN-RD

    033-05 Radio74

    033-06 3ABN-RL

    041-01 KPXM-DT

    041-02 qubo

    041-03 ION Life

    045-05 KSTP Rewind

    062-01 WDMI

Each tuner displays the information slightly differently from one another. My ZIP code is 55068 in case you want to look at further details for this market. I have looked at antennaweb.org, TV Fool, TitanTV, RabbitEars.Info, and others, but RabbitEars seems to be the most up to date for my market.

My location is 41 miles north of the Cedar Hill antenna farm for Dallas-Ft. Worth and 65 miles south of Madill, OK where KXII, my only out-of-the-DMA facility, has its site. My current setup is an HBU-44 (aimed south) with a YA-1713 (aimed north), both in the attic. A scan nets a total of 88 streams from these 30 stations:

    17 Channels received by antenna.
What's your antenna configuration? I see a few Baltimore facilities there but have you tried to optimize your setup to get WMAR, WBAL, WJZ and WBFF?

Yes, strange that the very weak WUTB on UHF is showing, but no WMAR or WBFF???????

We're using a janky old set of rabbit ears for now, and truthfully, I haven't to optimize at all since we're getting our locals with Cox cable. It's probably time I do a rescan since it's been well over a year since my last one.

How can I get Windows 7 Media Center to play Dallas area station "21-2" aka CBS/KTVT

Hi, I saw your location and wondered if you were streaming through your PC and might be able to help.

I have a Windows 7 with a Hauppauge 950Q Tv Tuner (USB) that works great.

WMC recognizes 21-1 and 21-2 with full signal strength, but will not add 21-2 as a station.

All of the other DFW stations with multiple stations, such as 5-1 ,5-1, 33-1, 33-2, 33-3, etc. are showing full signal and are playing fine.

When I try to play the CBS programming (meaning it's really KTVT) on WMC, it says there is either no signal or the station is off the air (which it is not).

For 11-1, it show "CBS FCC Temporary Authorization" at times, or it will load the programming, but it will not show any signal for 11-1... which is supposedly KTVT.

I've tried adding a missing channel, but that seems to fail whether I try to redirect 11-1 to look at 21-2's frequency, etc.

WMC only allows me to enter 2 digits for frequency.

I'm hoping someone has found or can figure out the exact steps I need to take to make that signal play like all the rest do.

    Thanks!

    Tex,

I checked at REC Networks and KTVT maps to channel 11, but it is actually transmitting on channel 19 and not on 21.

    Geographic Coordinates: 32-32'36 N / 96-57'32 W Channel: 19 CALL SIGN HISTORY - KTVT -

    That's verified here: RabbitEars.Info

    I hope this helps,

    Jim

That's because the frequency of tv channels have only two digits. You may be confusing the display channel no. (11.1) with the frequency no. which as Fringe wrote would be 19.

I have some updates to my list.

5.2 Cozi TV (replaced Nonstop, & now widescreen)

WLS-TV has shut off their VHF signal, but problems still plague this station after over 3 1/2 years. Not everyone is getting them on RF 44 like those in the far western & far southern suburbs & in rural NW Indiana. These people were getting them better on RF 7. While I get them on RF 44, it has broken up a lot, & has been worse since returning to the Sears Tower. Seems to me that it's getting interference from WCPX on RF 43 & WSNS on RF 45, who all broadcast from the Sears Tower. At least for me, RF 44 worked a bit better from the John Hancock.

    13.1 4 WOCK-CD (Mundo Fox) (720p)
    13.2 WOCH-CA simulcast
    13.3 mostly infomercials
    13.4 Weather Nation
    13.5 Mega TV

20.3 Mhz Worldview is now widescreen

    25.1 25 W25DW-D (HSN)
    25.2 TVC+ Latino
    25.3 Sonlife TV
25.4 QVC (replaced Punch TV, which was placed on this channel at the beginning of this year)
    25.5 LATV
    25.6 Almavision
    25.7 Wizebuys (infomercials)

    38.4 Shop TV (infomercials)

40.2 Inmigrante TV (added after WSNS dropped the channel)

    44.2 Éxitos TV
    44.3 was dropped completely.

56.1 17 WYIN (PBS) (now 1080i) (licensed to Gary, IN & serves NW Indiana)
    56.3 is still Lakeshore Kids
    56.2 & 56.4 shut off for now.

What I listed have been what's on these channels since my last update. Otherwise, those channels are still the same.
