Default tweaking Antenna Craft U8000

Ok
recently sold all of my Radio Equipment and installed a tv antenna on the 30ft tower back of my house to see if I could receive the digital channels. Radio shack recommended the Antenna Craft U8000 as an antenna but have found that this antenna has a very narrow reception field 5 degrees. I have added a 20 db distribution amp on the inside of the house and a winegard ap 4800 preamp at the tower have ordered a Channel Master CM 9521A rotator for the install with Digicon RG6Q Connector Quad Shield Coax Cable for a single run of 100ft to the inside of the house is there anything else that could improve my chances of getting optimum reception zip is 28327 and has anybody else used this Antenna

Found a post on another forum: U.S. Reception of Canadian Stations - OTA - Page 5 - Digital Forum

It's a Canadian site (eh?), but apparently the topic was about someone liking a yagi antenna over the Antenna Craft U8000. I find it hard to believe, because it's my understanding that Yagi's are more "directional". I think your setup looks just fine. Do you know approximately how far away your broadcast towers are?

Approximately 60 miles as the crow flies in a 360 degree circle. so one direction is out of the question.
