Default Indoor Antenna?

Or maybe THIS is the type of solution? Antennas Direct DB2

The DB2 is a great antenna, I use it on one of our over-the-air TVs here at the house.

Default antenna

That sounds like I'll need to get one. I have 2 tv's, about 40 feet apart, will one antenna work for both?

I guess there's only the 4 channels on digital around here as yet. Having trouble again, couldn't get the pass-thru channels again last night, but see that I can today. I might need to turn the rabbit ears a little. Does the Antennas Direct DB2 need to be turned by people to pick up the channels or is it automated?

You can use one antenna for two TVs, but at 40' distance, you may want to use a preamplifier and place it as close to the antenna as possible (to magnify the signal and not signal noise).

if you need channels from different, directions you will need a rotator, however the Lava A-2605 from summit source has the amplifier andthe rotator built in and one coax runs it all most of all it's cheap and very small

We have an outside antenna on 1 TV and rabbit ears on another and neither one picks up the digital signal of our local ABC station and they are only approximately 60 miles away. Is there anything else we need to do (or can do)?

Hi Kelley,
when you get a chance, do you have a preamplifier on your rooftop antenna? Is ABC on the lower range of channels (Channel 1-5)?

I don't believe there's a preamplifier on it but I'll check. Not sure what's considered lower range but they are 8-1.

No preamplifier. ABC in our neck of the woods is 8-1

Hi Kelley,
Approximately how many feet away is your antenna from your TV (or what is the distance of the total cable length between the TV and the antenna). I'm thinking that a preamp may help you out, but it's really tough to know for sure if you need one without having a signal meter to measure db's.
