the antenna I referred is about 60.00 at summit source add to this a mast and mounting hardware runs about 150.00 or less so you can put up the antenna for what you pay for two or three mouths of sat service. it works well and has a 60+ mile range.

plus you get the preamp and rotator built in and it all runs off one coax. the antenna is the Lava A-2605 from summit source . com

it sounds as if we'll need to do a little upgrading in order to get all of the channels for our area. thanks guys ... you've all been a great help.

Hi, this is my first post on these forums.
Here are my questions that relate to this thread I hope...
I need to know some things I'm not finding on forums(or cant find).
I live in Dallas TX. I have 2 different TVs with 2 different converter boxes,an Apex and a Zenith,and both rabbit ears are the same.I got them 2 months apart.Both were getting like 8 channels for awhile and working just fine.Channels were 4 plus its sub stations,5,wb33,11,ion,13.and 3 Spanish stations.Now for some reason I can only get 2 channels,11 and 13,8 has yet to come in. Are stations turning off digital signals from time to time for some reason?The weather hasn't changed this problem.Any suggestions on this?

go to tv fool.com and put in your address and post the results we can then make a educated guess as to what is wrong post post trans results
