No channels i used to get
I was getting 4 channels fine, 12-1 and 12-2, which I get get now, and 2 19 mexican channels that I don't watch. Why can't I get the 12-1 and 12-2 like I did? Did they change somehow? There's an antenna on the back over house behind me, does that do anything? ALSO, the light on the 9950 wild kept blinking, and now I can't get the 2 channels that I used to get, but get 2 channels that I didn't have before. WTH is the problem???????????????????

What is your setup type of antenna, converter box, rotator/no rotator etc. lay of the land?

Echoing what CU4C said, and wanted to add...a search on Google for "9950" resulted in a million different types of products. Is it a converter box or antenna?
What city/state are you in, or zip code atleast, we can post a channel lineup to help you determine what you're missing, or which channels have moved.

And the digital picture seems to be so colorful, I didn't think changing the color on the tv would change the digital picture, but maybe it will? Thanks.

TVGuide has the best "local channel" info I've seen: I can't directly link to the search results for your zip code, but you can easily check it by going here: http://www.tvguide.com/listings/setu...aspx#changezip
For anyone else wanting to use that link, just change the area code in the box and it should give you search results according to the channels you should be able to receive.
Phantom, did you say you're currently using an outdoor roof antenna and are looking for a different solution? Or did you say that you can't use an outdoor antenna?
Are you using any type of antenna for your setup?

What is happening here is your loosing the digital signal for some reason or another. I think you will find that the same thing happens with sat reception as well. Looks like bad weather is going to knock service out in the future where as it used to just give us a picture with some static in it.

Ok
digital is all or nothing so if your signal drops you lose it all I have had similar experiences with other boxes. some are better at weak signals than others. with a indoor antenna you are going to get minimal reception from stations that are not in your area. so I would recommend an outdoor antenna see the post on needing a small antenna this one has worked quite well for my customers and is cheap so you get antenna rotator and pre amp in one.
