Channel Master CM 7777?
First time poster, long time lurker...
Thinking about ordering a Channel Master CM 7777 unit. I have an outdoor antenna extended from the top of my roof about 10', so it's approx 40' total off the ground. Problem is, the run from my family room to the antenna is 125' in length.
Reason why I think I need one is because my kids room is on the second floor and receives its signal from a splitter off the rooftop antenna. Perfect reception with it too.

OK I filled out the TVFool information. It's nice to have the info but how does that help me if I need to know if I need the CM 7777?

It may just be in my area. It runs around 30 bucks, mine was well worth it. It has a metal cover instead of a plasitic that channel master has. That gives it a better ground.

Curt, not sure if I remember if you ever posted a TVFool plot here. If so do it again please. There is a good chance the CM7777 was too much amp for your location. Too much amp will kill reception as fast as no antenna at all.

Maybe I had a bad cm 7777 I dont know. I hope you can help me some more thanks. curt_dawg

Does make sense to me. All your stations shown are well below over load. FMFool says the same. Maybe it was a bad one. If what you have works, keep it!

Thanks for the help Curt. I'm running out of ideas for fixing this, so I'm hoping that maybe the CM 7777 in my case will help.
