Amazing how fast people get ready when the alternative is snow.

I said for the last 6 months

"The Ultimate PSA will be snow...."

Only those Drain Bamaged like Congress could not see the writing on the wall.

I read on the internet, actually talked to in person, people that were not ready. The overwhelming reasons was not money, technical know how or any of the media touted reasons.

The overwhelming thing I heard was it would be delayed again and if not when it actually happens I will do something. Which goes hand in hand with those 4 months ago said delaying would only delay the last few percent from finding a solution.

Well, it actually happened...

Only 1.7 Million out of 300 million unready for DTV? I'd say those are some pretty successful statistics right there. Still don't know if the delay was needed but a lot of folks have redied their TVs since Feb. 17th.

I'd like to see some dtv reception statistics or surveys and maybe a DTV satisfaction survey after the transition.

Yeah, by the numbers, it was a success. It just wasn't a smooth transition, nor was it done in a fair and just manner.
