Default KIRO Channel 7 moving digital antenna this week
Broadcast station KIRO, Ch 7, in Seattle, WA will be removing its analog antenna at the station's Queen Anne tower tomorrow and replacing it with a digital antenna in the same position. It's estimated that work will be completed by Saturday, July 11th.

KIRO has released a news update today notifying its viewers that digital signals will still be broadcasted throughout the week, but at a lower power output of 50% of normal power.

Viewers in outlying areas and some outlying cable companies may not be able to receive KIRO's signal during the work on the tower.

Some jobs are so dangerous that i think OSHA doesn't really matter. the Army, shark fishing, construction, the police, etc.

Nice pictures though. did i read 56K? i never thought any ISP nowadays even supports dial-up anymore. sheesh i'm spoiled by wireless broadband...
