Default WFQX / WFUP-TV in Michigan moving to channel 32

WFQX/WFUP-TV Fox on channel 33 is changing to Fox 32 on August 4, 2009, at 7pm. With the switch to Fox 32, WFQX will move its transmitting site from Kalkaska to Cadillac ending its UHF 47 broadcast signal.

It is recommended that viewers rescan their converter boxes or Television set at 7pm to find Fox 32.

WFQX is moving from Ch 47 to 32, farther south and less power. So many in the northern area will loose reception of 47 when it moves to 32. However WFUP it's sister station on Ch45 will cover the upper regions.

So those in the are should either rescan, or attempt to manually add ch 32 and ch 45 after August 4th. Then use which ever comes in better as they are the same content.
