Blu Rays are sooo much better definition in my opinion. The picture is so clear, it's like nothing I have ever seen. I say it's worth it. and if you dont believe me, find some way to watch an entire Blu Ray, the 2.5 second display you walk by in the store doesnt do it justice.

Blu Ray is good, I have to admit, but it is not worth the enormous price tag it carries. When the players begin to become cheaper on the market, I will buy one. But for now, I am content with my old DVD player.

I have a brand new Blu Ray player in my living room, and the quality is fantastic! I would never replace this player for something of lesser quality. The crisp picture is just so amazing, I am astonished by all the movies I watch.

I agree Blu-ray movies do have better quality, if only they would make the players more affordable too..

I got my blu-ray player on black friday, you just need to find the good deals...my player was under $150 when I bought it...plus the good thing is that blu-ray players play regular DVDs so you don't have to play only blu-rays on there...because blu-rays are so expensive my boyfriend and I buy the movies that we like and just want on regular DVD but say if it's an action movie like Transformers or something like that where there's a lot of detail we spent the extra money to buy the blu-ray version. It works out great.
