Why do some of my links look different after I post?

I posted a link to dtv.gov but when I put a www .dtv.gov without a space, it automatically puts a bunch of words on it? The one I'm talking about is here DTV.gov redesign by FCC

Tony, if you just type the link www . dtv . gov, vbulletin will pull the name of the page from that site and automatically insert it as the link (though the link is stil dtv.gov). If you want to name the link yourself, you have to type out the word dtv.gov, highlight it, and select and type in the link there. That'll keep the forum software from trying to name the link itself.
