    Interesting information about video games

    History of video game:

    At first the video games are introduced in the period of 1940s. In 1947, Thomas T.Goldsmith.Jr. and Estle Ray Mann innovated this video games, which is used by “Cathode ray tube amusement device”. Until 1970-1980 the video games are not popular one for all. The name of first video game introduced is arcade.

    Video game console:

    Video game console is a device which is specially made for playing game through customized computer system. This customized computer system will create a video signal which is used for display the video game.

    It was not till 1972 that Magnavox released the primary home video game console that might be connected to a TV set—the Magnavox Odyssey, invented by Ralph H. Baer.

    Second generation of video game console(1976 - 1984)

    Fairchild released the Fairchild Video Entertainment System (VES) in 1976. Whereas there had been previous game consoles that used cartridges, either the cartridges had no info and served a similar perform as flipping switches (the Odyssey) or the console itself was empty and also the cartridge contained all of the sport elements. The VES, however, contained a programmable microprocessor therefore its cartridges solely required one ROM chip to store microprocessor directions.

    Third generation video game console: (1983–1989)

    In 1983, Nintendo released the Family laptop (or Famicom) in Japan. just like the ColecoVision, the Famicom supported high-resolution sprites and tiled backgrounds, however with additional colours. This allowed Famicom games to be longer and have additional detailed graphics. Some of most famous video game console in third generation are a follows:

    Fourth generation of video game console:
    Sega regained market share by releasing its next-generation console, the Mega Drive/Genesis, that was released in Japan on October twenty nine, 1988, in the U.S. in August 1989 (renamed because the Sega Genesis) and in Europe in 1990, 2 years before Nintendo might unleash the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES).     I love to play video games. Especially i like to play games which include sword fighting. My most favorite games are prince of persia series, god of war trilogy and devil may cry.
