Why Doesn't Sony Sell Cool Stuff In The USA?
For many years now, Sony has sold many of its best products only outside the USA.
For the PSP, there is a USB camera ( Go!Cam - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ) and USB GPS unit ( Go!Explore - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ) that's only available in Japan. Many really good PSP games were only released in Japan.
And for the PS3, there's Play TV: Only available in Europe.

PlayTV is an
HDTV/
DVR add-on unit for the
PlayStation 3 (PS3) video game console. It allows the PS3 to act as an
HDTV or
DTV receiver as well as a
digital video recorder (
DVR) for recording television programmes to the
hard drive for later viewing. The application will only start up with the DVB-T adaptor connected.

And people wonder why I won't buy anything from Sony?

Sony doesn't want to bring Play TV here because it's a PVR and people use it to watch TV......an activity that takes away from them spending money on Sony content like playing games, buying blu-rays, or paying for downloads through Sony's online store.

So, people in Europe and Japan don't watch TV with it? Sorry, I can't believe that's the reason.
