What's the difference between something being too "old" and you simply not liking it, then?

The various Stargate series are unique enough from each other that they don't even bear many commonalities. Rather that sequels, they are simply separate series set in the same universe. I liked SG-1, and didn't like SGA, but that doesn't indicate anything about whether or not I'll like SGU -- as long as I go into SGU without preconceived intentions to like or not like it.

If you can't see the difference, that's your problem. It's obvious, and I've already pointed it out twice.

As for the other, Wright and Cooper have talked about wanting to do more character interactions and being edgier. Since I have no respect for Cooper at all and haven't for years, I have no desire to go researching. I don't feel a need to prove my comments just to engage in some ridiculous argument with a bickerer. :}

I wouldn't say it got boring but what happened after a few seasons is that Jonathan Glassner left the show. That changed the show's history and course, and it was a sad day indeed when he left.

Okay, so your contention is that your personal animosity towards Cooper means that anything you say against him must surely be valid.

Interesting.

Orrymain that's also similar to what killed off SeaQuest DSV. when they removed the guy who played Nathan Bridger it killed the series, adding aliens and making the craft also spacecraft also had play in killing it off.

Nope, that's not what I'm saying. If you want to go read RCC's stuff to build a case or make your argument, go ahead. I don't want to hear or read anything the man says anymore. He doesn't care about fans' opinions, anyway. He said that on video. Let's stay on point, in which case we need to agree to disagree because we clearly have different opinions on this.

SG-1 had a lot of death twists. Glassner was the co-creator/producer and he really understood the characters. When he left, he was replaced by a homophobic tweeb (lol, yes, I don't like the man at all) who decided that see woman's breast was more important than character depth. He destroyed the show. It never recovered. It stayed on the air because of the amazing popularity of Richard Dean Anderson and Michael Shanks.
