If you were limited to watching only one show for the rest of your life, which one would it be? I'd have to lean toward The Cosby Show but I'm sure I'll come up with something else later on.

In answer to the thread topic...maybe...
Star Trek: The Next Generation
In answer to your question refined in the Original Post.
That is a much tougher question.
Maybe Masterpiece Theatre?

Battlestar Galactica (1978)
Wait, is it one episode of one show or one show? If so, I pick Knight Rider.![]()
Both Knight Rider and Battlestar Galactica are Glen A Larson gems. both of which were ruined in remakes
KITT even had the same scanner as the Cylons in Galactica ; iirc i believe Glen Larson paid homage to the defunct series by re-using the same red LED scanner.
An episode of Galactica (The Long Patrol) had a recon Viper with a computer known as 'C.O.R.A.' which, if i'm not mistaken, was the inspiration for Larson's idea for the Knight Industries Two Thousand (K.I.T.T.) A.I.
•The idea of KITT was modeled after HAL 9000 in 2001. However, Larson had used the concept earlier in Battlestar Galactica (C.O.R.A., Episode "The Long Patrol") and Buck Rogers (Dr. Theopolous, Twiki). The car was inspired by a prominent television executive seeing a similar car in B.J. and the Bear, another Glen Larson production.![]()

Mine would have to be the SG 1 with the original crew. But even Jack's replacement was good. Then stargate Atlantis but it faded to bad early ending.
This new stargate totally stinks. I can't even watch one whole episode without thinking what a waste of time.
I like Babylon Five a lot.
All the Star Trek series. Even the other series based on Roddenberry's writings. I can't even remember, was it Earth something and wasn't there another one?
I would say to me there is a huge gap, empty spot in new space based SciFi. SciFi period there is nothing on TV right now that to me is interesting.
V so far seems ok. But it's ok compared to total garbage out currently.
Family Guy has to be one of the funniest shows along with South Park. I love when Brian and Stewie get into something. Peter is blazingly stupid but is supposed to be, but can be so stupid it not funny. Lois on her independent streaks is great too.
I wonder if I am finally burning out on Simpsons? Lately it just doesn't seem to hold my attention.
The more I understand, the less I know.
PORK... The Other White Meat....
That's a real toughie. I agree with SG-1, the vintage seasons (1-3). I have to also say Laramie as a close second and Emergency! right there too. On the comedy front, two shows I can and have watched over and over and over and over, well, you get the idea, are The Dick Van Dyke Show and The Andy Griffith Show. Those never get old to me.
Stargate (the movie) was filmed in the mid-1990s. it's time to let the TV variants of sequels go already (the SG-1 was nothing more than that. a sequel made-for-TV. good for some laughs and that was it)
Seriously it's like the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. you know they're still making that series?! ever heard of 'overexposure?'
One of my classic favorite all time shows has to be The Newlywed Game. Trivia. Who produced The Newlywed Game?
Chuck Berris (Crazy host from the Gong Show)
