When I watch ER, I feel that I am watching House sometimes, and the other way around as well. It might be just that it always depends on something medical, and a lot of the time is spent in the ER.

I don't think ER is like House at all. There are completely different situations that occur in each show. The character types are completely different. The story line is completely different. There are so few small similarities that you can barely see them.
