We had more than one tv, so we were lucky. I remember my dad laying on the couch sleeping and my sister and I would sneak and turn the channel. All of the sudden he would say, " I was watching that." We were so thankful when we got a second tv and could watch our own shows.

I really can't remember any shows that I didn't like as a kid~ just the news.

Yes we would fight to see who would watch what on TV. I hated some of the stuff my mom would choose. My kids are lucky they have their own TV

When I was a kid it seems like everything on TV was good, but then, I was usually outside playing. Check out the link at the bottom of this page. You can see what was on the TV schedule for pretty much any year.
Click on the link and go to the bottom of that page to select the year. Have Fun!

Well, I'm still a young guy, but I wasn't keen at all on The Flintstones and The Jetsons. Classics, yes, but I didn't really like them all that much. I wasn't too big on most superhero cartoons, but I did love the Batman animated series.

I didn't like ANY of the comic franchise cartoons. I even prefer the campy Batman shows over the cartoons.

My mother loved The Lawrence Welk Show and for the most part I hated it; then I grew up and loved it, so go figure!

Oh crud! I take back what I said in my earlier post. The Lawrence Welk show immediately sent me into depression. It had the same affect as the Gong Show on me.
