I watched his show on Friday night and he had me rolling on the floor. Guess it'll take some time for the fan base to transition from Leno to O'Brien. Give it some time.

Default Late Night Sucks

Well I give him a chance.......so far it ain't happening, I still can't stand him. or pretty much anyone else on late night now. So for me late nite is a total waste. Like I said earlier, I guess I'm gettin to old for this stuff. Sure do miss good late nite. Letterman is tolerable, but barely.

Actually the whole Conan move has been great for my sleep lately. Instead of staying up till 11:00-11:30, I'm now in bed by 10:30.

I'm with HTNut on this one. I turn him on for a minute, and he's gone the next. I just can't tolerate Conan. I'd rather watch a DVD.

Kind of sad that repeats of The Late Show with David Letterman are doing better than Conan. I think Conan's been getting better with every show.

I like Conan, just not on The Tonight Show. I tried watching him a few times, but I'm over to Letterman now. I hope he goes back to what he does best.

I'm sure glad i got some more PBS channels with the transition, cause I've tried, I mean I've really tried, but all these late nite guys are terrible!! Letterman was tolerable, but it seems like something has changed on his show even. I dunno, maybe trying to keep up or ahead of the youth. I think he does the best interviews or whatever ya call them. The rest are like canned interviews, then it's like times up get outta here Conan kind of mocks his guest, jumps in with his stupid what everyone is calling comedy, I almost feel sorry for him. He's like a 9 year old trying to entertain some little girl he has a crush on or something, just sad. So he's not worth my time. Ferguson, well look at all the stupid stuff I can do, and they keep paying me...wow this is cool. They all lose IMHO!!!
So on to PBS, they cover it all. Sometimes it's entertainment, sometimes it's just interesting, and sometimes it's educational. GEEEESH the other nite they had a thing about the late nite host from Allen to Leno. They were all pretty good, but Carson SMOKED them all. Dang I can remember when he first came on, and my Dad would let me stay up that late, I'd lay on the floor below that haze of cigarette smoke back in those days, and I even enjoyed him then. Yeah some of it was above my head, but I got it most the time. Someone decent needs to step up, but I have no clue who that would be.
