Default What channel must you absolutely have?

If you could only have one channel for the rest of your life, what would it be?

That's a tough question. If I only got to have one channel it would have to be NBC.

That is such a tough question. I love TLC, Discovery Channel, HGTV (hey, I'm buying a home within the year!), Comedy Central, HBO, NFL Channel, amongst others. I can only choose one? hmmmmmmmmmmm

If I choose NBC, I get Sunday Night football plus a few games during the day. Fox has most of my favorite shows OTA plus they just signed a deal with NFL for NFC games. CBS? Blah.

I'll choose Fox. Wait... no... ok Fox.... yeah. I think.

One channel, it's very difficult to choose. But here in Asia I would rather choose AXN -non stop action and has a good choice of anime.

I would sell the TV. I switch channels eclectically way too much to live with one.

But if I had to choose it would be PBS

Favorite channel? I'd probably flip a coin between Discovery channel and The Food Network.

Well, I record a lot of shows from this station: KDOC-TV Endless Classics! Everything else is just background fluff, enjoyed a little, but I watch KDOC mostly.

That's impossible to answer. I need Speed TV for NASCAR, but sometimes I also need ABC, TNT, and ESPN2 for NASCAR. I used to need Sci Fi for Stargate SG-1, but I have the DVDS and their programming is lousy now. CBS has Numbers and some of my favorites. I love Hallmark, depending on what they're showing. I don't know. I'm a TV addict. I need them all!

I am ditto-ing you again Orry, but this time I think it's 100 percent.

I hate the part of NASCAR when I need satellite to watch, the picture is lousy because I don't pay for HD on DirecTV, too much commitment and cost.

But that said, the commentators on TNT just don't measure up to when FOX has them in my opinion (NASCAR). Speed is not bad. And ABC is almost as good as FOX. Even the camera angles are limited when TNT carries the races, and they add double the commercials. Last weekend several important events happened during commercials.

My son only watches NASCAR now and then and is one that likes the last 20 laps (last weekend on the Sprint Cup the last lap was worth the whole race). But he said what channel is this on Dad? (he is 26), because it stinks. I asked because it's not in HD? He said well yes, but they don't have all the cameras FOX has and too many commercials!

Maybe PBS will pick up NASCAR!
