This part of the article was too ironic.

"AJ Khubani, founder and CEO of "As Seen on TV," said he first met Mays in the early 1990s when Mays was still pitching one of his early products, the Shammy absorbent cloth, at a trade fair."

There is a shammy connection. I don't want to know how Smiling Bob uses his shammy.

I would hope that out of respect for his family they pull all the Billy Mays commercials off the air.

On a more serious note, this is spooky that we just brought up this tread and he was the same age as MJ.....

Well, the Big City Sliders website still stands. I think they'll use a different pitchman for it, as it doesn't really have his name on it. Same goes for the other direct-order items. He's not Ron Popeil.

Ok, help the old pig out here. Who is the guy brushing his teeth, or just a non descriptor serial killer?

Who is the girl with the red x?

The supposed 'killer' of the celebrities

I'm guessing the x'ed out girl was Farrah? or could be michael jackson, don't call me crazy but he always looked like a white woman after all that plastic surgery.

You didn't recognize Michael's pencil-thin eyebrows?

DTV, what machinima is that from? It looks like Half-Life, he looks like one of the doctors in that...

I seriously need to update my collection of machinima production games.

I like this free game production software, even though the horizon depth is short: Reality Factory - Games Without Programming
This one isn't free, but takes any Quake weapons, actors, and BSPs to make your own shoot-em-up in just one or two hours: FPS Creator » Welcome

I don't think he got a "per-item" commission - would cost the manufacturer too much over what they have paid. It was just for each version of the commercials that were run, per promotion. He probably also got a "third party name endorsement" check for the manufaturer using his name on the products. The family wouldn't get any more money than what they've already gotten.

They'll probably need to sue the airline and the luggage rack manufacturer, as well as the airport's physician; if the death was a result of a untreated traumatic injury resulting from the rough landing. They could get some money there.

We have these local commercials for a car dealer named Fuccillo who uses the tag line Huge. These commercials are so darn annoying plus they are splashed all over the metro buses

Also all the pill commercials, man like I want to take something that will make me bleed internally
