I hate Jay Leno (okay hate is strong -- strongly dislike and detest) but I saw the clip online this morning with Dick Van Dyke and had to watch it because I really like Dick. I didn't know he was writing a book. If I could afford it (can't), I'd buy this one. I was surprised he talked a little about his wife (first?). That was such a private thing for years and years. He never talked about it. No one knew if they were separated or divorced, and frankly, I'm not sure if he and Triola ever married or not. Maybe the book has the answers? I still have a hard time picturing him with Triola -- couldn't stand her. Of course, I guess I don't really know that much about her but back in the day I just didn't take to her.
