Coupon as Visa Transaction

As i understand the coupons are being tramited as visa transactions.

Anybody know if the tv converter box coupons that would be transmitted by visa would require any additional programming in the point of sale or they would by processed exactly like any other visa transaction?:

Hi,

Purchases with the converter box coupon card will be approved/authorized through the same payment network connection in which Visa transactions are processed, even though the payment will not be a Visa transaction.

I work for a retail company in Puerto Rico. We have just received auth to sell a TVCB unit and I have some doubts regarding the whole process. Thak you for your help.

ANYBODY KNOWS IF SOME OF THE 16 DIGITS FOR THE ICN ARE THE SAME FOR ALL THE COUPONS, FOR EXAMPLE THE FIRST 9 DIGITS?

KNOWING THIS WOULD BE VERY USEFUL IN ENTERING THE DATA, MAYBE USE A TEMPLATE.
