You'll have to wait a little while. The only time when they'll issue another release is when the copyright is halfway towards expiring. New footage would be added, as well as additional commentaries and languages, just enough to meet the "new work" requirements of renewing the copyright. Same goes for any other movie that's not already in the public domain.

He is being smart about it, BR hasn't fully caught on yet, and until it does, he'll be wasting time and money on it. I do completely agree with leaving it alone though, cause trying to redo certain parts will just turn into blasphemy, we want the original, the best, and in pure form with a sharp resolution to talk about.
