    The Best Internet TV Option

What is the best way/option/service for Internet TV? There are a lot of names bandied about, but regardless of price, which is actually the best? Money isn't a problem.

I would go for a media center PC. Set top boxes are not as flexible as a dedicated PC. Some services block boxes, or restrict access. For example, HULU only allows most set-top boxes to access the paid "HULU Plus" service but not the free service.

A dedicated windows 7 computer has windows media center and allows you to use your PC as a dvd / blu-ray player, DVR, OTA TV tuner, and - well, it pretty much does everything.

If you want to build it yourself, look here: Turn Any PC Into a Media Center - PCWorld
If you're just looking for a computer thats ready to go, you can get something like this: CybertronPC FA1020R Firebox Media Center PC - AMD Athlon X2 5600+ 2.90GHz Dual Core, 2GB DDR2, 500GB HDD, Blu-Ray/DVD-Combo, TV Tuner, Remote Control, 350 Watt PSU, Windows 7 Home Premium 32-Bit, Red at TigerDirect.com

Of course, it IS a computer, so if anyone in your household has problems using a computer, you may be better off with a set top box. I'll leave other members to give advice on that.

I would second the idea of the HTPC. Windows media center has a few internet TV options and there are plugins that allow you to access other sources. Pair that with hulu desktop and you're golden.

If you want something cheap you can get one of those nettop PCs that are simply low power desktops. The Dell Zino for example.

How to Watch Internet TV - Best Option

If money is no object, then you certainly have more options before you. You can decide whether you want the best of Internet TV on a computer, television, or both. I suggest to weigh your options and decide what works best for your type of lifestyle. Perhaps you travel or on-the-go a lot, then I suggest creating your own super Web TV computer system that can accommodate. Whether you are living with or without Cable and Satellite, there are now HDTVs with Google TV technology in them that brings the web, media, apps, etc., to living rooms. Also, Boxee box (set-top box) is something to look at as well. Still, you have other options - some already mentioned here. As a suggestion, there's an article that you might want read that covers all of this in more detail.

    Best smart tv

    We own a Samsung UN46EH6000.

    This is a great tv!
I decided on this tv because it was a reasonably priced led tv, and nearly all of the reviews that I saw on-line raved about the picture. The reviews are so right. The picture is breathtaking, and by going with this model, and not the super-slim upper line series, you get wonderful sound. No need for a sound bar, the built in speakers and the SRS sound is a joy to listen to.

I still prefer the set top box method for internet TV. If the TV dies, your internet TV goes with it. I can't tell you how many DVD/VCR/TV combos I've seen that has at least one of the 3 not working.

And another nice thing about a STB is that you can move it to another room easily. I've even taken the Roku on the road with me, and used it at my sister's and in a motel - with their WiFi and TV.
