Just wondering how many of you have a computer with a tv card? I have one and it's great to be able to record programs and then watch them later and just skip over the commercials.

I have one, but i rarely use it anymore since I started watching stuff using streaming technology from the network sites, netflix, and hula.
I am excited that we can access shows off the main network sites, as well. But, I am still curious about how much that t.v. card cost and if it enables you to watch shows you can't access without.
TV cards are rather cheap now. Finding one that is HD built in is a different story. You will pay over $100 for these and need at least a 3Ghz computer with direct X 10 to play back the video properly.
There is no need of a Tv card as a hardware now, we have tonnes of free channels streaming on the net and if you have a fast internet, dont bother investing in them.
