Hulu to get first original scripted series

Hulu is following in the footsteps of Netflix with its own scripted series debuting on Feb. 14th.

The new show "Battleground" is being touted as the first original scripted series for Hulu.com, a website better known for putting popular TV shows online.

It's on HULU Free. From Wikipedia:

Battleground is Hulu's first original scripted series.^[6] The series, along with Hulu's other original documentary series, is available for free rather than on the subscripton-based Hulu Plus to enable the site to build its user base and reputation for original programming.^[7] The show will premiere on February 14, 2012, with a new episode made available online each subsequent week.^[4]

Doesn't look as good as Netflix's Lillehammer

Not interested in either but I bet ya if it becomes popular, it'll move over to the subscription service. That's how businesses tend to operate -- suck you in and then force you to pay out.
