I add to this thread because I wanted to second the call for those with PCs and digital TV tuning devices. I have a laptop with a cheap Pinnacle USB HDTV dongle, and I can do TSReader captures just fine. Trip showed me how, and I returned him the Cleveland and Youngstown markets.
Welcome to the Forum. Hang around if you can stand us!
Trip was responsible for dragging me over here also. Nice place..

I use a cheap cheap AVER USB ATSC only USB stick to do my captures, which cost me $25. My PC is too slow to use it watch HD, though it will display SD subchannels.

But it captures with TSReader just fine and folks if you have a tuner in your PC, TSReader is free.

You are not 1001, I was sent a capture for KXLT by gjvrieze. It was one I thought I had but apparently didn't, so he sent a new one.

But you do have capture number 1004, which is WKMG. That would be the 1000th unique station.

And thanks, Inundated. I certainly hope to fill in some holes in my TSReader coverage. Perhaps I need some fill-in translators? Anyone speak Spanish? (I know, I know, that's not punny...)

I would rather be the real 1000th capture on WKMG, which is one of my favorite stations since I was a kid and they were WDBO-TV with the studios and transmit tower on North Texas Avenue.

I needed fill in translators today! Mexico was pouring in on low band, though I could only get one call sign. If I had a translator I probably could have gotten more.

1:45 PM 7/15/2009
XHPN Channel 3 analog, Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico
1124.37 mi from Orange Springs, FL

I saw digital snow on it, wondering all the time if it was WBRA......

Glad it makes you happy.

I'd say that I would laugh if you see WBRA-DT though I generally have lots of issues, but I really wouldn't laugh. I'd just continue hating WBRA.

Trip, what's this? RabbitEars.Info

Are stations starting to put traffic cameras on subchannels? Any more going to do it?

Yeah, WNYE and WMVT loop various traffic cameras on subchannels. WFAA used to have traffic cameras and info but recently pulled it in favor of This TV. Also, KNXV in Phoenix has a subchannel that does a lot of traffic coverage but doesn't really fall into the "traffic cameras" category.
