Default If people from history and current events could speak to the DTV Transition

Spock on the DTV Transition delay, "The needs of a few out weighed the needs of the many."

Fire Sign Theater on the Transition, "Live it or live with it."

Thomas Jefferson, "The rights of the people should have free TV."

Alexander Hamilton, "I bought my own converter box, and so did my friends."

Robert E. Lee, "Analog TV shall rise again!"

Neil Young, "They have DTV in Alabama?"

Lynard Skynard, "The DTV in Alabama is sweet."

Jimi Hendrix, "Cuse me while I scan the sky."

Robert Johnson, "I pick it up best at the crossroads."

Eric Clapton, "Anyday, anyday, I will see it smile."

Dwight Eisenhower, "Don't let it be controlled by the Miltary Industrial Complex."

President Kennedy, "I only watch it at Marilyn's house."

Rod Blagojevich, "Let me fix my hair first."

Rush Limbaugh, "DTV? I am on the radio. Only lefties watch TV."

Keith Oberman, "DTV is safe, because FOX News is not on it."

Barack Obama, "The right amount of delay is what makes it work."

Michelle Obama, "It's ok, the kids get 30 minutes a day of PBS."

President Lincoln, "Two score and 10 years ago, the stations began analog....".

FDR, "This really is a New Deal".

Jimmy Carter, "This ain't just peanuts."

Bill Clinton, "I did not watch that DTV channel."

George W. Bush, "DTV?"

Dick Cheney, "We will not install it in Gitmo."

Donald Rumsfeld, "We could invade it".

Napoleon Bonaparte, "Comes in fine if I hold my hand in my jacket."

FDR again, "The only thing we have to fear is the hidden transition".

Albert Einstein, "DTV? Electromagnetic waves? Oh, yes, 186,000 miles per second is not only a good idea, it's the law, relatively speaking".

Werner Heisenberg, "a particle is described by a wave. The position is where the wave is concentrated and the momentum is the wavelength. The position is uncertain to the degree that the wave is spread out, and the momentum is uncertain to the degree that the wavelength is ill-defined. Or the mere presents of an antenna itself disrupts the particle wave so it can't be measured."

Thomas Dolby, "It blinded me with science."

J.J. Cale, "Analog is like cocaine, you can't get it back."

John Lennon, "Happiness is a warm cathode ray gun, mama."

Paul McCartney, "Like Linda, analog is gone on it's' wings."

Green Day, "Do you know your DTV, it's not the enemy."

Dire Straits, "I want my DTV, OTA for nothing get your shows for free."

The Gandhi quote is genius.

Alright, here's mine, and in reference to DTV, I don't even need to change it,

Sir Winston Churchill - “If you are going through hell, keep going.”

Martin Luther King, Jr.
I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, and every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight; "and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together" in OTA DTV without Double edge diffraction.

I liked my Heisenberg one of mine the best but I think it was over the top unless you have studied particle physics.

Mahatma Gandhi and Martin L King were excellent guys.

I think Apollo 13's infamous transmission describes it best (in regards to reception):

"Houston? we've had a problem"
