    Default Alan Alda on PBS

Anybody else enjoy narration by actor Alan Alda on PBS? He's been the host of the series, "Scientific American Frontiers", for over 10 years.

Seems like Alan generally enjoys what he does for that show...I kind of get the feeling that he goes off script from time to time because he is well researched on a lot of the topics his show focuses on.

One of the best PBS shows, IMHO. And Alda really seems very much into what he's doing. Where can I get a job like that? (Or on Mythbusters)

Strange, I've not seen "Scientific American Frontiers" in Colorado. They run it all the time on NET2 in Nebraska. What's up with that?

It's carried very frequently on PBS World, which is not available from KRMA or KBDI.

So, either Colorado needs a third PBS station group, or KBDI needs to stop running some of the less than interesting stuff that shows up on KBDI+ and run some PBS World.

I get the PBS quadruple play here: 4 PBS stations broadcasting 11 channels, not counting a NPR audio only channel and BYU, the LDS channel, which is not PBS - but I am including a V-me. One of my PBS affiliates broadcasts in 1080i: Sweet.
