Default What PBS show from your childhood sticks out most in your mind?

Any of the PBS shows can qualify, but which program do you remember most when you were a child or young adult?

Seriously, Im going to go with The Letter People.

Also remember

Seasame Street and the Electric Company
there was also a book reading show....but I cant remember what it was called (Not Reading Rainbow). I think someone painted a picture while the book was read. Kind of foggy on that one, I guess.

Wasnt their one called Zoom?

I loved watching 3-2-1 Contact back in the day. Lots of cool scientific experiments and explanations. To me, it was almost like watching a magic show and then learning how everything worked because they took the time to explain it.

Sesame Street is of course my second favorite show from the past. Especially those guys in the theater that would comment on everything. I can never remember their names!

The Electric Company! hahaha I vaguely remember that. The executive producer from that show actually created 3-2-1 Contact too.

I think there was a guy named Mr Science or something like that. It was back in the late 1950s. I used to watch WEDU on Ch3 out of Tampa FL when I lived there.
