Default Why do you watch PBS?
Why do you watch PBS? I like to watch it because the shows aren't dumbed down like some of the stuff on network tv. I also like to watch BBC news to get a different perspective of what's happening around the world.

Actually I have a pet peeve with PBS. It seems like the shows I decide to watch are always their pledge break shows. That is so annoying.

That's pretty much the point of pledge breaks. They suck you in with a great tv show and constantly interrupt it with people asking for money.
