@1inxs

I love your lifesize (am I right?) Dobbie! Great set-up as well!

@Aaron62

Thanks for starting this thread and not bad set-up at all considering it's just your temporary one.

Guess my husband would not give me his office under the roof to build up a home theater like yours.(And not for a life size "the Rock")

So I am curious and I am still looking for suggestions for my living room.
Sorry it took so long, I've been out of town. I used the poster box on the wall entering the room for effects. Most of us can allocate a corner in a room. The setup in the picture should be easy for anyone's HT room. You have to excuse the wires. I haven't had time to install the conduit behind the sheetrock yet. When that's completed I'll hide the wires. The entertainment center is a temporary home made setup and will eventually be replaced. You could use a wall mounted unit if floor space is limited. The satellite speakers are not visible in the picture because they are in the back corners of the room and they use little space. Also I recommend installing the HDTV lower on the wall for normal viewing. Mine is mounted high for viewing while playing billiards/pool. But this should give you some ideas.

That's a definite fun room, is that Wall-E in the background?

By the way, look what we picked up from Costco this afternoon.

There's just something about recessed lighting that makes a room really "kick". Looks awesome but it's about time you upgrade to a Wii Wireless remotes too!

@1inxs

Looks great and I have shown it to my husband, because I want him to install something like that in our new home in Virginia. (Meaning your cinema under the roof).

He promised to do so if he gets a billiard / pool table.

So we are going to buy a bigger home and it is your fault

For the living room we are planning a set up like Aarons62.

You should see the setup at the Anaheim Furhouse: Furhouse Video Room
It has a computer, an Xbox 360 AND a PS3, all switched to a JBL home theater sound system and an LCD projection system. There's a Wii elsewhere in that house, but it's used in the living room. There's some other game systems, they're out when the place isn't packed with people like a can of sardines. Frequented by folks from all walks of life. They're a good bunch.

Yes, I had a closer look at that Furhouse Video Room.

Would be a nice place for us humans.

But would be the best place for my dogs, which like to destroy plush toys.

They would really enjoy it.

(Yes, sometimes I am a bad girl)
