As of now nothing as the government will not allow you to reapply if you got only one coupon you can apply for a second.

I have a sister that can't get a convert box becuase the coupon expire already. And when she got the coupon there were no conert boxes avaiable. And where she lives she needs a tv. Due to torandoes and srorms in Oklahoma. I would like to help her beucase sh doesn't have a radio nor a compute so what does she do for reports now. So please let me know I should do for her. I would like the government to change their thnking of the xxpiration dates on that. So please let me know what to tell her ASAP please. Thank you.

This was a great thread. I don't recall reading through it before. If someone spent some time on it, they get make a pretty good list of all the failures involved in this program. There were some things here I hadn't even thought of before.

I have this to say about people complaining about the switch.

Yes, it probably wasn't needed, but you were made aware of it -well- in advance, and if you can't save up a good few dozens of dollars over the course of several months, then you need to take a serious look at where your money is going!

Angry DTV Coupon Troubles

OK, forget the fact that our government has wasted tons of money on issuing plastic coupon cards when an email or paper one would do fine. But I have inadvertantly missed out on redeeming my coupons twice! Each time was near the deadline. Some online sites require a few days before expiration to process the coupon. Just tonight I set out around 9pm to review the models and found a few I'm interested in. Then found a few online retailers.... now it is about 10:45pm. By the time I add to the cart, enter billing info, etc., and finally the coupon info.... it comes back as being expired! Seems this happened last time as well. I think the coupon database clock is set for eastern time, but I am in central time, so should have had the chance to redeem! And of course there seems to be no help in un-expiring the coupons or replacing them now; just lost out again!

Probably at swap meets too. It's weird putting an "s" on meet. Just doesn't look right.
