I typed comments on the dtv conversion months ago before getting the rca converter boxs and I do admit that the picture looks great until the signal falls off a cliff due to cloudy weather or rain and snow. The picture break up also moves from one group of channels to another on differant days. I live on Long Iland and I felt it was best to wait for the analog shut off to see if the dtv signals get strong enough before possibly changing the position of the antenna to improve signal strength. There is just one month left till the analog shut off date so I hope the dtv signals in N.Y.City will be at full power by then so I can see improvement in the performance and then I can tell wether I need to move the antenna in a different direction or not. I now get 28 dtv channels on my 2stereo tv sets. I hope this tv transition works out. The additional channels have been interesting to watch!
