Any idea how to continue to use the full feature of a VCR with the existence of the digital converter/set-top box? Use cable splitter, switch, and/or ??? I don't suppose it has something to do with my VCR not having a digital turner??

What kind of connections are you using from the set-top-box to the VCR and from the VCR to the
HDTV? Coax? RCA?
So you don't have a connection(component cable or
HDMI?) from the set-top-box to the TV?
