I would contact Directv customer service and offer them the opportunity to give you a discount concession equal to the
HD monthly fee. They should continue to give you all of the
HD programming contracted and concede the additional cost until the local
HD programming is made available to you. If that fails I would contact the Consumer Protection Agency in your state. Make sure to include Directv and the name of the subcontractor that installed the system in your complaint.
