Relive those good ole days of TV Signoffs again
Messing around on Google this evening after watching Tim58hsv's Analog Shut Down Video and found this:
TV-signoffs.com - J. Alan Wall's Television Station Sign-Off Site

This site is devoted to the memory of a bygone era in American broadcasting when all TV stations' programming ended at the conclusion of Johnny Carson's Tonight Show or The Late Movie. This site will be featuring authentic recordings of U.S. television stations ending their broadcast day with the playing of the Star Spangled Banner (SSB), America The Beautiful (ATB) or some other patriotic piece before cutting the juice or going to a test pattern. With very few exceptions, all U.S. TV stations now operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, filling their overnight schedules with infomercials, home shopping fare, all-night network news, movies and daytime talk-show reruns.

How cool is that? They have the videos organized by city and state.

Back when people loved to prove how much they loved their country. what ever happened to that kind of American pride? now we have china products infiltrating, we're now a spanish and american speaking country, and hardly anyone puts out an american flag on the porch. what happened?
EDIT: i noticed the China and Mexico flags have made more showings in the last decade though, not that i can get used to it.

Since when did "flying a flag" become the only way to show loyalty for our country?
Lets not poop on HT's thread here.

Great find, HT.
Being from the Dayton, Ohio area I naturally had to check out WHIO's sign off. The weather man in the clip is Nick Clooney aka, actor George Clooneys dad. Nick was a local celeb in these parts and his sister was the legendary singer/actress Rosemary Clooney.
