XBOX360 HD Question

If my TV is only capable of 1080i, does it really matter if I get an HDMI cable or can I just buy a cheaper component cable?

ILuVW, Welcome to the DTVUSA Forum. It depends on how the audio is connected. There is no video quality difference between component and HDMI cables. The HDMI carries the audio and the component doesn't.

Seriously correct me if I'm wrong here 1inxs, but I thought that component cables only carried up to 1080i and hdmi cables carried up to 1080p?
